The Mayor of London is currently carrying out a review of the Metropolitan Police Service's gang database, the Gangs Matrix. As part of the review we are seeking the views of voluntary services and community representatives who regularly work with individuals affected by serious violence and gang or group related criminality. This survey covers a range of related issues including Matrix understanding, process, communication, as well as more general issues relating to the policing of gangs in London.
The survey should only take around 10 or 15 minutes to complete. Non-identifiable quotes may be used in research findings, but any identifying details you provide will be treated in strict confidence, so please give open and frank answers.
What we learn from your feedback helps us make sure we are providing the best service possible to you. The only personal details we are requesting are organisation/role (optional). This information will only be held for a maximum of three years. Any information that you provide will be processed by MOPAC in line with the requirements of the UK Data Protection Act and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For more information, please go to www.london.gov.uk/mopac-privacy-policy or contact MOPAC at enquiries@mopac.london.gov.uk. A link to the privacy statement is also available at the bottom of the screen.
Thank you for your time and support in proving valuable comments. The Matrix Review's recommendations will be published later this year.
If you have any problems completing the survey or any questions, please contact Tom.Davies@mopac.london.gov.uk or Laura.Duckworth@mopac.london.gov.uk
